Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Official Whistles ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform. Official Whistles reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
Official Whistles is a skill-based fan engagement platform centered on sports officiating. The Platform allows users to make predictions about officiating crews, forecast game-level officiating outcomes, and compete on leaderboards for bragging rights. Official Whistles does not involve gambling, wagering, or betting of any kind. No real-money prizes are awarded based on the outcome of sporting events.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to participate in tournaments. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others. Official Whistles reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Tournament Entry & Payments
Official Whistles is currently free to play during the MVP preview. No payment is required to create an account or participate in Whistle Time or Official Forecasts. If paid entry options are introduced in the future, these Terms will be updated in advance.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to manipulate leaderboards or scoring systems; (c) use automated systems or bots to interact with the Platform; (d) impersonate another person or entity; (e) interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform; or (f) engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Official Whistles — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Official Whistles, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Official Whistles is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any professional sports league, conference, or governing body.
7. Limitation of Liability
Official Whistles, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall the total liability of Official Whistles, Inc. exceed the amount you paid for your tournament entry.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
